Dementia is a term for conditions most known for how they affect our memory, however these conditions can affect many more aspects of our daily life; from our behaviour and emotions, to language, problem-solving and risk assessment skills which can make it very dangerous to go undiagnosed.
This is why it is so important that we know the symptoms and we get the early support we need.
The checklist provided here may be used to note the possible symptoms of dementia. This is not meant to provide a diagnosis but to instead help start a conversation with your doctor, or other health professionals, regarding any concerns you may have for yourself or a loved one.
